Ingredients

  • 1 spoon Blue Lotus (decaf) Chai Tea Latte mix
  • 1/2 cup boiling water*
  • 1/2 cup oat milk**
  • a wee bit cinnamon or honey (optional)

Instructions

  • Froth 1/2 cup oat milk in your frother or with a hand held mixer.
  • Scoop a heaping spoonful of Blue Lotus Chai Tea Latte (decaf) mix into your mug.
  • Slowly pour 1/2 cup boiling water into your mug while mixing vigorously or using a hand held mixer. Slower the better as it will whisk the latte mix to keep it smooth.
  • Add with your frothed oat milk, give a quick stir and voila!
  • Top with cinnamon or add honey for sweetness (optional)

Notes

*tips: I always have problems with my warm beverages cooling down way too fast. If you heat your mug with boiling water FIRST before you start making your latte, it will keep your drink warmer for longer. Just make sure to dump that hot water out before you get started with the first step.
**NO SWEETENERS REQUIRED! I use oat milk because it compliments the chai mix soo nicely, and gives a subtle sweetness, which eliminates the need for sweeteners. But, if you're having a sweet craving and need a lil something extra special today, add in a drizzle of honey and top with cinnamon!
