Welcome to my beloved bohemian home!
I’m honoured to show you the place where I get cozy, inspired, artistic and make magic happen. ✨

Truthfully, I never knew I had a knack for interior decorating… But ever since I got Pearl the Camper, I’ve been obsessed with creating beautiful spaces full of thoughtful and creative touches. Really I’d almost call it more of a sacred oasis, which is exactly what I think every home should be.

Drawing up inspiration from a Canadian treehouse retreat designed by my good friend Lynne Knowlton, I started my quest to design the life I wanted to live. My own theme includes lots of airy whites, fluffy throws, Indian crafted and antique furniture, eye catching art pieces, unique rugs and some fun twinkly lights to brighten up those darker rooms.

Making sure my home is always well equipped with the most soothing calming details also makes it REALLY easy to stay in – especially during times like the quarantine. Anything from candles, incense, salt lamps, diffusers, succulents and foraged dried flowers make for the best natural decor that fits any space. I’ve also had a nice time dressing up those little nooks with unexpected trinkets that put a smile on mine and my guests’ faces! 😀

I’m so thankful to have had the opportunity to decorate a space exactly as I wanted. It was a LOT of work to shop around. I spent the better part of 2 months just browsing home decor sites, sleuthing online bargains, picking up second hand items off facebook marketplace, purchasing items in store and returning, but it was SO worth it! All of my belongings (dining table and chairs, queen bed, mattress, linens, sofas, rugs, art pieces, plates and cookware, trinkets, etc.) costed me around $15 000 CAD to furnish my entire 2 bedroom loft apartment.

Annnnnnd here’s a video I made to accompany the photos.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I hope this post gave you some inspiration to fill your own home with cozy, inspirational trinkets and furnishings.
